1 The TideCall service is provided by Caversham Telecom Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom, by using data provided by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (“UKHO”). The UKHO is part of the Ministry of Defence.

2 Callers are asked to note that TideCall predictions are calculated using the tidal data held on the UKHO database.  However, it should be noted that sea levels are also affected by the state of rivers, meteorological conditions including but not limited to barometric pressure, wind and rainfall and by geological events all of which are outside the scope of these calculations.

3 The cost of calling the TideCall Service varies depending on the network you are calling from. As an example, calls from British Telecom fixed phones cost 60p/minute including VAT.

4 We may record your calls to the TideCall Service in order to process information collected via the TideCall Service for development, sales, marketing and regulatory purposes. We promise not to disclose your information to a third party with the exception of the Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Telephone Information Services (ICSTIS) or other appropriate UK regulatory organization.  We may call you for development, sales or marketing purposes.

5 We will use our reasonable efforts to provide a 24 hour service. The availability of TideCall may be affected by faults in or limitations of telecommunications networks operated by third parties and this is outside our control.

6 We provide the TideCall Service using data supplied under licence by the UK Hydrographic Office and the service is not intended for commercial use. Use of the information provided by Caversham Telecom Limited is at the customers' own risk. Caversham Telecom Limited gives no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the suitability, quality or accuracy of the information provided. Caversham Telecom does not accept any liability whatever in respect of loss, damage injury or other occurrence however caused.

7 WARNING: NOT TO BE USED FOR NAVIGATION . The UKHO has not verified the information within this product for navigational or other safety critical purposes and does not accept liability for the accuracy of reproduction or any modifications made thereafter.

8 Where the Caller's selected port is identified as having complex tides, Callers are advised to visit the Admiralty web site www.easytide.com for a detailed graph.

9 The information provided by TideCall is protected by British Crown Copyright. This product has been derived, in part, from Admiralty charts and publications with the permission of the UK Hydrographic Office and the Controller of Her Majesty's Stationery Office. All intellectual property rights in this method of communicating tidal information by telephone are the property of Caversham Telecom Limited.
